OVERSEAS CHAMPION

Houtman turned the spotlight he earned with Cape Verde into professional playing opportunities in three different countries: Angola, Portugal, and the United States. He played for the Boston Frenzy in the American Basketball Association, multiple teams in Portugal (including FC Porto), and Clube 1 de Agosto in Angola. He won multiple league and cup championships.
